r*squad weekend is a powerful three-day retreat designed to help students step away from the noise of everyday life and lean into what God is doing in them. This year’s theme, Fan the Flame, is all about awakening, strengthening, and boldly living out the faith God has placed inside each student.
Rooted in 2 Timothy 1:6 — “This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you.” — this weekend will challenge students to recognize their God-given gifts and grow in confidence, purpose, and passion for Jesus. Through engaging worship, impactful messages, small groups, and unforgettable moments with friends, students will be encouraged to let their faith burn brighter than ever.
This weekend isn’t just an event — it’s an opportunity for students to encounter God, build community, and return home ready to live out their faith with boldness.
Join us for an unforgettable week in the Dominican Republic! This mission trip is your opportunity to step out in faith and make a lasting impact through leading sports camps, evangelism, and kids ministry.
Whether you're coaching soccer, sharing the Gospel, or teaching Bible stories, you'll discover how God can use your gifts to bring hope and joy to a community in need. You'll return home with a broader perspective, deeper faith, and memories that will last a lifetime.

The R*SQUAD leadership program is an 8 week (June-July) development program specifically designed for rising 8th grade through 12th graders. Approximately 1.5 office hours per week.
The goal of R*squad student leadership is to see students leading, serving, and thriving in the church after the completion of the program. It is designed to grow students in Wisdom, Stature, Favor with God, and Favor with man.
Students interested in joining the program must show leadership initiative through regular attendance at R*squad events as well as serving at Renovation Church.
Application Deadline is May 14.
